David K. Skilling - Managing Director
David Skilling founded the Company in June 2006 to specifically work within the SME Engineering sector. David's aim was to provide a results driven team providing business consultancy across a wide range of disciplines. The team has proven track records in their areas of expertise and many of them continue to run their own successful companies, whilst helping other businesses to work towards reaching their goals and develop their potential. After completing his Engineering Apprenticeship and Qualifications with Aerospace Company Short Brothers & Harland's, he joined the GKN Group for five years, during which time he moved with his family and settled in Scotland.
In 1987 he left GKN to form a green field site for TR Fastenings in East Kilbride, just outside Glasgow. Over his nineteen year career he performed a number of roles across Sales, Purchasing and Operations. David was appointed a Director of TR Fastenings in 1990 and completed his time with the Company as Regional Managing Director, responsible for the P&L of Scotland, Ireland, North East of England, and the new Division in Budapest, Hungary.
During this time his team grew to one hundred and twenty five people with Sales revenues of £24 Million and a bottom line acceptable to his Main Board. Making these considerable resources available at an acceptable cost to the SME sector is a key objective of N2B. The individual members of our team have all produced results, both in previous posts, or in their own business today.
Felix Gibson - Director of Sales
Felix Gibson comes to Concero as a seasoned sales professional in the Telecommunications and ICT industries with an extensive knowledge of fixed and wireless networking technologies and the applications that drive them.
Most of his activity and success has been in the public sector arena, negotiating contracts at board level in the local government, police, criminal justice, blue light, NHS and education sectors. Felix has run sales divisions from director level responsible for marketing, profit and loss, recruitment and development.
Keith D. Skilling - Senior IT Consultant
Keith joined the team as one of our Senior IT Consultants in March 2007. Keith has a proven track record in startup businesses co-founding the successful Soluis Technologies Ltd in 2000 as Technical Director with the current MD Martin McDonnell. Keith was subsequently founder and MD of his own IT company; Soluis IT Ltd in 2002. Keith sold Soluis IT Ltd to Glen Communications Ltd part of the AIM listed Glen Group Plc in May of 2004 where he became Head of IT.
Keith has brought experience across a broad range of IT services, including network, infrastructure and IP Convergence (IPT / VoIP). His project management skills were proved delivering IT projects for the healthcare and financial services industry and demonstrate his practical as well as theoretical abilities. Keith is focused on the development of Concero as the premier Hosted Voice Provider for the SME market.
Andrew G. Rennie - Senior Technician
Andrew, having worked alongside Keith at both Soluis IT Ltd and latterly Glen Communications Ltd, was the natural choice to manage the provision of quality workshop and onsite support services through Concero. Andrew once again brings his considerable knowledge of desktop based hardware and networking support to the team.
Andrew's considerable skills have seen him create his own highly successful consumer focused enterprise, which he left Glen Communications to setup at the end of 2005 and is currently going from strength to strength.
